DC students finalists in NASA student science competition

Three black teens are finalists in a NASA competition. Hackers spewing racism tried to ruin their odds. From left, India Skinner, Mikayla Sharrieff and Bria Snell, 11th graders from Banneker High School in Washington, are finalists in a NASA youth science competition.

NASA will now the decide the winner of a student science competition, after the voting for a winner was hacked! Students from Banneker High School are the only East Coast, and all-female and all-Black team in the competition.
