DAY OF ACTIVISM

Over the past few years, the BSCU has made it a point to advocate for youth both in our local communities and also in Sacramento at our State Capitol.

The Day of Activism (DOA) is a dynamic, student-centered experience rooted in the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement and the cultural symbolism of activism. DOA brings students together to engage in civic leadership, cultural awareness, and community empowerment, creating space for youth to raise their voices and advocate for equitable, meaningful education.
